The timings of Punjab Schools are changed due to bad weather conditions in the state.The information was shared by the Education Minister Shri Harjot Singh Bains via X(formerly twitter) post.
The Timings has been changed for all the schools be it government,private or aided schools.
The new timings are 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.The new timings will apply from 4/12/2023 till 23/12/2023.
These timings will be same for all the wings i.e. elementary,upper primary,high and secondary wings.
Earlier timings were 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for elementary wing & 9:00 am to 3:20 pm for middle,high and secondary wing.
The post said The decision has been made on the call of Rescpected CM of Punjab Shri Bhagwant Maan due to fog and winter cold.
The safety of students and teachers has been kept in mind.
